Privacy Policy

This is a draft, written from what the shop actually does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and a few placeholders below are waiting on the business's CAC registration to be completed. Treat it as a real starting point, not a finished legal document — have someone check it before relying on it.

YnR ("we", "us", "YnR") is a hand-painted streetwear shop operating out of Mpape, Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site or order from us, why, and what say you have over it. We try to write it the way we'd actually explain it to someone on WhatsApp.

What we collect

We only collect what an order, a message, or a mailing-list signup actually needs:

Placing an order: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address.
Sending us a message: your name, email address, and whatever you write to us.
Joining the mailing list: your email address, and nothing else.
Browsing the site: which pages and pieces get viewed, and whether a visit leads to a WhatsApp click. This is not tied to your name or any personal detail — we do not log your IP address or store a profile of your visits.

We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your information with advertisers.

Why we collect it

To take and fulfil an order, to answer a question you've sent us, to tell you when a new one-of-one piece drops (only if you've asked to hear about it), and to understand which pieces people are interested in so we know what to paint next.

Payment

If you pay by card, your payment details are handled entirely by Paystack, not by us — we never see or store your card number. Paystack's own privacy policy covers how they handle that information. If you pay by bank transfer or confirm on WhatsApp instead, no card details are involved at all.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as a business and accounting record. Contact messages and mailing-list subscriptions are kept only until you ask us to remove them, or until they're clearly no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:

Show you what we hold about you.
Correct anything that's wrong.
Delete your personal information. For a past order, we keep the transaction itself as a financial record (as most businesses are required to), but remove your name, contact details and address from it.
Stop hearing from our mailing list — every email we send has an unsubscribe link that does this instantly, no request needed.

To ask for any of the above, message us on WhatsApp — mention what you'd like, and confirm the email address your order or message was under. We'll action it directly; there's no account to log into.
